‘Tis the holiday season and festive events are plentiful around Boston.
The Bostonian way of getting into the spirit involves a lot of laughs, a lot of traditions, and a lot of drinks! Over the last two weekends Boston participated in the annual Santa Con and the Santa Crawl. Both events were bar crawls that took place across the city. From Fenway to the Financial District, Santa’s were boozing and cruising while making their way throughout the city! It was truly a sight to see, and fun for those 21+ years of age.
Holiday celebrations in Boston are not limited to those of alcohol consuming ages though, and a holiday bucket list is imperative when taking on Boston during the holiday season. You don’t want to miss anything, do you? Make your way over to the Boston Common, and enjoy a peaceful day, or lit-up night skating around the famous Frog Pond. Locals got their run on at the Speedo Jingle Bell Run, which was a grand ole time watching runners sport their speedos in 20 degree weather. You know what they say – don’t knock it until you try it! The Arthritis Foundation raises funds and awareness to America’s #1 cause of disability, and 100% of the registration and fundraising proceeds went to this great cause. Over $70,500 was raised in the spirit of the event! Boston Common was full of these festive runners making a difference for such a great cause.
