Celebrate like is 1776 in Boston

Ahhh July 4th, a day of friends, family, laughter, and of course fireworks. The alluring aspect about Boston, besides being rich of the historical events such as the Boston Tea Party, is that Bostonians certainly know how to have a memorable Fourth of July. Relax in the warm Boston night air and enjoy the luminous hues that decorate the city’s sky. Explore Boston on this historic holiday – it is the birth of the fight for American liberty.

The free Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular, a yearly event located on the Esplanade, is the premier place to be. You are guaranteed to feel a rush of exhilaration watching the night sky light up from the banks of the Charles River. In addition to a glorious firework show, live entertainment will keep the spirits high. This year, the line-up includes headliner Rachel Platten, two Grammy award winners Rhiannon Giddens and the Indigo Girls featuring Amy Ray and Emily Saliers.

Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular isn’t the only reason to enjoy the city for the Fourth, the Boston Harborfest is another favorited event. Being considered the largest Independence Day festival in the United States, the 37th Boston Harborfest will consist of entertainers, famous historical reenactments, music, events along the Freedom Trail, Harbor cruises, walking tours, and a whole lot more! On average 3 million people visit Boston for this event! These festivities began on June 28th and ends on July 4th.

Come celebrate in Boston, the city ever-so proud of its revolutionary heritage, the city who defines the term of true patriotism.
